Our clients context is one of rapidly changing technology, diversified customer needs, and a fierce market characterised by rapid mergers and acquisitions. The complex challenges they face include maintaining a corporate brand in the face of global diversity, and developing new forms of networking and virtual working in a workforce that is distributed across many different sites.
Our challenge as consultants was to integrate leadership models and theories with participants’ real experience and challenges live in the room, so that the programme had lasting impact.
We designed, developed, and piloted the first level of a suite of three Leadership Development programmes, and pioneered a Group Coaching process.
The ‘License to Lead’ programme was intended for first level Team Leaders and Project Leaders. It was designed to equip individuals with the leadership skills to make them transition from individual contributor to team leader.
The leadership development programme comprised of pre-works which focused on the participant’s own specific leadership challenges, a ‘People Processes’ e-learning module, a three-day workshop, and three virtual group coaching sessions.
Results of this global programme conveyed a significant increase in attending team leaders’ performance, engagement and commitment to the organisation.
Feedback from participants indicates they found the skills developed from attending our programme help them tackle complex challenges more successfully.
