MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Celesio UK contacted GP Strategies requesting operational and delivery support for their instructor led, modular management development programme across its UK business.
A programme was required to develop all employees in a management role; working within the Lloyds Pharmacy Group and Celesio UK’s support centre population. Target roles comprised of Lloyds Pharmacy store managers, pharmacists, store supervisors and team leaders within the support centre.
The nationwide programme was required to be delivered across eight regions of the UK, totalling 84 days of delivery monthly.
Five management modules were developed focusing on different business-related topics in addition to reinforcing the company’s values. These were:
- Leading the Team (2 days)
- Coaching Conversations (1 day)
- Difficult Conversations (1 day)
- Leading Through Change (1 day)
- Commercial Awareness (1 day)
Created a geographical placed faculty of 16 trainers to maintain the company’s eight regions.
Partnered with Celesio UK’s lead designer to finalise the programme course content, lead trainer then utilised the content to design the TTT materials, specific for each module.
GP Strategies was 100% successful in delivering its solution to support the operation and delivery of Celesio UK’s management development programme. Analysis was founded on feedback received from Celesio UK delegates, which was fed back on a modular basis and has been very positive.
66% of those who participated rated their trainer’s delivery of the session as 10/10.
75% rated their trainer’s knowledge of the subject matter as 10/10.
After completion of each module, there remains a significant increase in the delegates’ knowledge rating.
